Back to School Information SY 2025-26

Dear Grizzly Families,

Welcome to Ray Reynolds Middle School. My name is Shannon Lockard, and I am honored to be your principal. To learn more about me, my principal’s message is available on our website. 

Annual Update and Schedules: For your student(s) to have access to their schedule, you must sign the required online Annual Agreements located in your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Schedules will be available online starting 8/18/2025. For more information about creating an account, please visit https://www.psd1.org/students-families/powerschool. Students will receive a paper schedule at Open House on August 25th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. 

PE Clothes: All students will need black shorts and gray tops for PE this year. Families may choose to purchase at Reynolds, but it is not required. Debit and credit only accepted at this time. 

Family and community partnerships are essential at Reynolds Middle School. Laptops will be checked out to 6th grade students during the first two weeks of school.  

Bus Routes are not yet set for the 2025-2026 school year. When they are available, the transportation department will send out more information. Bus Routes can be found on the district website: https://www.psd1.org/departments/transportation/bus-routes

Important Dates 

August 12th Fall Athlete Orientation (7th & 8th Grade) 6:00-7:00 pm on Zoom 

August 25th : Front Office will be closed for the All Staff Rally 7:00-11:00 

August 25th: Open House for all Grade Levels 4:00-6:00 

  • Students with last names A-L 4:00-5:00 
  • Students with last names M-Z 5:00-6:00 

August 26th First Day of School for 6th Grade 

August 27th: All Grades attend 

September 12th Picture Day
